Woven with tucumã palm straw, these fans are born from the collective hands of riverside communities along the Arapiuns River, in northern Brazil. Before the final weave, the straw is harvested, cooked, and dyed with natural pigments — a process steeped in ancestral knowledge.
Their vibrant colors are not just decorative: each fan honors the natural world — birds, fruits, rivers, and the Amazonian light. At once utilitarian and symbolic, these fans reflect a way of life rooted in beauty, tradition, and identity.
